But try Whedon&#039;s &quot;Dollhouse&quot; if you can: still in its first (only?) season, but post-episode 6 all sorts of twists and revelations are shown; it&#039;s fast becoming my favourite US genre show (now that Galactica is over).

Your point about &quot;no longer watching new series until they’ve proven themselves&quot; also applies to book trilogies: I&#039;ve become wary of starting a &quot;first in a series...&quot; book just in case subsequent volumes don&#039;t measure up or don&#039;t get published.]]></description>
